RADT 256 ARRT Certification Exam Preparation and Capstone
This capstone course provides comprehensive preparation for the ARRT certification examination and facilitates the transition to entry-level professional practice. Students engage in structured review of radiographic content areas, including patient care, safety, image production, and procedures, using ARRT content specifications as a framework. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, test-taking strategies, and application of knowledge through mock examinations, case-based scenarios, and performance analytics. The course also supports professional development through resume preparation, interview skills, and career readiness activities. Upon completion, students are prepared to successfully challenge the ARRT certification exam and enter the workforce as competent, entry-level radiologic technologists.
Hours Weekly
5 lecture hours and 4 lab hours per week for 7 weeks or 2.5 lecture hours and 2 lab hours per week for 15 weeks
A graduate should be able to
