ARTT-230 Chinese Brush Painting II

This course is the continuation of ARTT-229. In this course, students will continue their study of the fundamental principles of Chinese art. The student will focus on 'Six Principles' of Chinese Painting for a more theoretical approach to the course. More comprehensive study on technique in the using brush stroke, ink, color, and variations on absorbent/non-absorbent paper will be the key for students that want to acquire mastery of this art form. The subject matter will be expanded beyond ARTT-229 to include landscape and atmosphere.
