Parent Scholars Program
The Parent Scholars Program is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity by supporting low-income student parents in achieving their academic and professional goals. The program provides a range of services and resources tailored to meet the unique needs of student parents in balancing their educational pursuits with family responsibilities.
Dedicated staff members assist participants with personalized goal setting, guiding them in defining and achieving their academic and career objectives. Students are supported in selecting appropriate academic and workforce development programs that align with individual career aspirations. The staff also facilitates access to tutoring, study groups, and other resources to enhance student parents’ academic performance.
To navigate the complexities of financial aid, student parents get assistance with identifying and applying for scholarships and other funding opportunities. Additionally, participants are referred to providers of essential resources for parents and children, including childcare services, healthcare, and community support programs.
