Scheduled Remote
Course Activity 
Scheduled Remote courses are completed online in Canvas with scheduled meeting times. There are no requirements for on-campus activities.
Schedule
Scheduled Remote courses have students log in to an online classroom to attend class remotely during all scheduled meeting times listed in the class schedule.
Students
Students are required to interact with the instructor, their classmates (or other students), and the course content in real-time online. Students have access to supplemental materials and grades in Canvas.
Faculty
Faculty are on camera, providing live lectures, and facilitating activities and discussions during scheduled class times.
How does it look in student planning?
When you see a section in student planning, you will see the following items:
- The Time field shows the day of the week and time the sessions meet.
- The Locations field shows the words Scheduled Zoom and Online.
- The Instructors field shows the instructor's name and (Online).
