BIOL 103 Human Heredity

This course involves the study of the inheritance of human traits, genetics problem solving, chromosomal analysis and its applications, the structure and function of DNA, causes and consequences of genetic mutations, and biotechnologies such as DNA identification, stem cell research, genome sequencing, and genetic engineering. This course is designed mainly for non-science majors. There will be a heavy emphasis on human genetic disorders in this course.
