Accelerated Track

Application Code 08B

This is a competitive-admission accelerated format designed to prepare a person to become a registered nurse. This format of the Nursing program requires continuous study to complete all required clinical coursework within fourteen (14) months  Admission to the accelerated format of the Nurse Education program is competitive. Eligible candidates must demonstrate successful completion of all required General Education Core courses, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. CHEM 103, BIOL 107, BIOL 203, and BIOL 204 must be completed with a minimum GPA of 3.25. Contact the office of admissions and advising to register for an information session regarding the accelerated format of the Nurse Education program. All other nursing admission requirements must be met prior to admittance to the accelerated nursing track.
