ARTS 129 Creativity: The Artist's Process

Students will focus on the techniques and practices of a single art medium while learning to apply the creative process. Through lecture, discussion, critique, and the creation of original artwork, students will gain a better understanding of the creative process, as presented by a master artist working in their respective medium, while developing their creative and critical thinking skills. Faculty will modify the major topics of the course each offering in order to present students with discipline-specific techniques and terminology.
