ENGL 083 Academic Intermediate Reading for ESL Students

In this course, reading comprehension and vocabulary skill building are approached as integral parts of an ESL student's overall English language learning, not as isolated skills. Students will develop their ability to read, analyze, and respond to varied reading genres (appropriate for intermediate learners of English), including selections with diverse global perspectives.
