MATH 067 Elementary Algebra

Topics include solving systems of equations graphically and algebraically; adding, subtracting, multiplying, simplifying, and factoring polynomials; solving quadratic equations and related applications using factoring and the quadratic formula, and graphing quadratic equations by hand. Linear equations will be used to develop an understanding of function notation. All sections require the use of the interactive computer program that comes with the software code. Use of a calculator is limited to a four-function calculator.
