FNPL-105 Financial Planning for Young Adults

This course is designed, in general, for those less than 30 years of age who are interested in learning how to plan for a financially secure future by practical applications in the following areas: money management, spending and savings plans, credit/debt management, and investing for the future.

  2. 2. State financial goals in measurable and monetary terms.
  3. 3. Analyze investment options as to safety of principal and potential return.

  5. 5. Calculate the future value of an investment.
  6. 7. Discuss Agood and Abad credit.
  7. 8. Articulate positive money management skills.
  8. 9. Articulate the need for and methods of controlling debt.
  9. 10. Construct a personal spending plan.
  10. 11. Analyze the money management systems used by individuals.
