EDUC-925 Exploring Teaching As Your Next Career
This course is for individuals who have at least a bachelors degree and are exploring the profession of teaching in one of the following critical shortage areas: secondary math, secondary science, secondary special education, or secondary world languages. Topics presented include introductory information on teaching strategies, assessment, classroom management and school culture. This course includes classroom instruction and five full days of field experience in a secondary Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) classroom. Class is limited to 10 individuals.
