LFIT-940 Sport-Specific Training

This class will focus on development of higher level aerobic endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility. Further emphasis will be given to individual development of performance-based attributes such as speed, power, and agility. The latest in sport-specific training methods will be used and will include HIIT (high-intensity interval training), plyometrics, assistive and resistive training methods. Students should have a basic level of physical fitness before enrolling in this course.
