ANTH-903 Forensic Anthropology

This course explores the methods and techniques utilized within forensic anthropology. Key topics include DNA extraction, genetic profiling and carbon dating; the identification and analysis of human remains including partial remains, and depositional preservational and recovery biases as they apply to the anthropological and archaeological records. A series of case studies will be used to explore these topics.
